ANIMAL WASTE CLEANUP AND DISINFECTION SERVICES IN IDAHO

DSC_1230.jpg

Steri-Clean idaho has over 25 years of experience handling the cleanup of and disposal of various types of animal waste. Rodent and animal waste commonly contain dangerous bacteria and viruses while also damaging the home itself. This serious danger can penetrate walls, cabinets, and sub-flooring, requiring technical cleaning and decontamination services by experienced professionals.

ANIMAL WASTE CLEANUP
At Steri-Clean Idaho, the most common request for animal cleanup services is due to cats and dogs. Cat urine is known for leaving visible stains, as well as an overpowering smell of ammonia. Whole male cats (not neutered) have the strongest odor associated with their urine and therefore pose the largest issues when cleaning. Steri-Clean Idaho is able to tackle these strong odors through treating the areas with a proprietary blend of cleaning agents, and our specialized odor equipment.

CAT URINE ODOR REMOVAL

Cat urine can typically be visible as they tend to go back to the same spot to urinate, over and over again. While this is beneficial for locating the issue in a home, it can present more complex issues for the cleanup process. Urine saturating one area repeatedly will cause penetration into the subfloor, which can add time and cost to the cleanup process. Call Steri-Clean to discuss your particular situation, or to schedule a free inspection, assessment and estimate.

CLEANUP VS. REMOVAL OF SATURATED ITEMS

Cleaning animal waste can be simple, or complex (like the photo above). When carpet, walls, subfloor, and other cosmetic or structural components are saturated there is a very real chance that we will have to remove the saturated materials. Most commonly removed are lower portions of drywall and subfloor that show obvious signs of moderate to severe saturation. Because wood and drywall are absorbent, there is no way to clean the inside of those materials, and a simple cleaning of the outside surface will not remove the source completely, and your home will continue to have a terrible odor. Each scenario is assessed to and discussed with the homeowner, and the best course of action selected to fully remediate the source of the odor.
